The Scheme is being run regionally by the Bradford Environment Action Trust (BEAT) and the team at the Environmental Technologies Centre for Industrial Collaboration (ETCIC) has been selected to administer and promote the scheme across the Humber region.

Businesses are always looking to cut costs - but they may not always look to a University collaboration to help them do it. One Hull company has, however, done just that - and is set to report significant savings as a result.

Family-run aluminium company Eltheringtons turned to the Engineering Design CIC when it discovered tried and tested 'lean manufacturing’ techniques did not easily translate into their high variety/low volume operation.
